Note: A maximum discount percentage may be set by your manager or administrator. If you need to discount more, your manager would need to change the maximum allowable discount under System, then System Setup, then the Sales tab at the top. The Maximum discount option can be found under the General section in that screen.
Discounting to a specific dollar value #
- Click on the service or product on the invoice.
- Type the sale or discount price in the the price field.
- Click Save Changes.
- Enter a discount reason (if required).
- Click Continue.
- The calculated discount percentage will show below the service or product on the invoice, and on the receipt.
Discounting by a percentage #
- Click on the service or product on the invoice.
- Click the Discount button.
- Type in the percentage that the item is being discounted for.
- Type in the reason for the discount (if required).
- Click Continue.
- Click Save Changes.
- The entered discount percentage will show below the service or product on the invoice, and on the receipt.
